Doompour
Controls:
Move sideways using directional keys (A/D or directional arrows).
Shoot enemies by aiming with your mouse and firing with the click button.
Objective:
Score points by shooting the enemies that appear on screen.
Survive as long as possible by taking cover under the shields.
This is a game created for Trijam #268.
I developed the game alone using Unity, all assets were made by me. All SFX were made using ChipTone, and all art was made using Krita. All the development process (creating the assets and doing stuff in Unity) took place within three hours.
I wanted to implement a short story for the game, but as it turns out, three hours is very short! You're a recon soldier in a post-apocalyptic world, and the shield system is failing. So you have to make do with what you have and take cover from the corrosive rain under the sporadic barriers that show up, while taking out as many monsters as you can.
This was really fun, I have a history of dropping projects after a few days, so a short jam like this was very nice, and I plan on participating in more Trijams!

Nice sound effects! Shield randomly appear was neat. Would have like to been able to destroy the enemy lol.
